OUR HISTORY

From the Start

The COVENANT HOME FOR THE ELDERLY (COHTE) is a charitable non-profit making organization that seeks to assist elderly people with basic necessities such as food, clothing, medicals, accommodation, and to improve on the health care and social medical challenges faced by the underprivileged population particularly at risk (fathers, mothers, and children).

We seek to put God’s love into action and contribute to the health and well-being of the elderly by bringing people together to provide them with the best healthcare possible.

We want to provide a future where the journey through old age is simple and smooth for the elderly by building the healthy environments they need to be comfortable.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Glory Enow is a US-based Cameroonian mother and grandmother of one with 16 siblings, some of whom are deceased. She has a degree in Developmental Psychology and certifications in Database Administration and Demential-related behavior.

THE JOURNEY

Out of passion for the elderly and her experience growing up, Glory Enow started a medical foster home with Veteran Affairs in the state of Kentucky, USA. She also owns an agency, Love Home Healthcare where she caters for the elderly.

The Covenant Home for the Elderly was founded in 2023, and has since then carried out three outreaches.

We are a charitable NGO that seeks to assist the elderly, children, and widows with basic necessities and to help the underprivileged population in general.
